UG06 – fog harvesting

The device I set up harvests mist to provide a source of fresh water in arid regions. The device collects mist through a simple and low cost collection system. The captured mist will integrate the water droplets due to the influence of gravity, and after a long time the water droplets will become a tank of water for agricultural irrigation, domestic use and so on.Fog collectors work best in places with frequent fog periods, such as coastal areas, to collect water as the fog moves inland, driven by the wind. Take Hong Kong as an example, Hong Kong is a coastal area and is extremely effective in fog harvesting. Of course, Hong Kong is a well-developed city. If it is installed on the Atlantic coast of southern Africa, such as South Africa and Yemen, the effect of this installation will be very large.
